Tattoos & Cosmetic Surgery: The Right Artist Matters

Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic SurgeryTattoos and cosmetic surgery have more in common than you may think. There’s the obvious point about them both making potentially permanent enhancements and changes to your body and that there’s a risk of things going horribly wrong. Making sure things go well, in both cases, is within your control to a certain extent too. Basically, don’t do it on the cheap!

No Such Thing as One Size Fits All

Tattoo, breast implants, BOTOX® or one of the more eccentric cosmetic procedures, there’s no one size fits all solution to any of them. One of the coolest things about you is your uniqueness, so make sure to pick a reputable, qualified cosmetic surgeon who can work with that.

Research Previous Work

Just as Instagram is your friend for choosing a tattoo artist, you can also use it to help pick a cosmetic surgeon. Pick up that cell phone, Google your local area and the procedure you’re considering and get scrolling through photos of past work. The winning combination is the cosmetic surgeon with reputation, experience and results you like the look of.  You’re looking for a better you, not to become an identikit clone.

Don’t Underestimate Imagination

Ok, the tattoo comparison might be getting a little old (or maybe you’re now considering ink as well as cosmetic surgery – sorry, not sorry!) but it’s valid. An excellent cosmetic surgeon can visualize how you could benefit from their work. A little imagination can go a long way, but make sure to rein  it in a little too. Enhancing what you have is great, going down the route of pointed ears, forked tongues and eccentric cosmetic surgery trends, perhaps not so much!
