Why You Probably Shouldn’t Tiger Mom Your Mommy Makeover

Mommy Makeover

Mommy MakeoverMommy makeovers are great. They let you pick and choose which cosmetic procedures you want, so you get a totally customized surgery that includes everything you’ve ever dreamed of. But here’s the thing: even mommy makeovers have their limitations. When planning how many procedures you want to cram into one mommy makeover, think about the recovery time.

How Much Mommy Makeover Is Too Much?

Most mommy makeovers combine a tummy tuck, lipo and a boob job. While you can add more procedures like a butt lift, arm lift, thigh lift, breast lift and whatever other lift you have in mind, that doesn’t necessary mean you should.

Remember, you’re talking about actual surgery here, so simply checking all the boxes next to every cosmetic treatment out there isn’t the best approach to getting the most out of your mommy makeover.

Most plastic surgeons advise that you limit your time under the knife to six hours.

Let’s Talk about Recovery

Not only is it unsafe to spend well over six hours in the operating room for a tiger mom mommy makeover, but it’s also not going to make for a very fun recovery.

First, think about where the procedures are on your body and how that’ll affect your recovery. A BBL and tummy tuck combo might not be the best idea, since you’ll pretty much have to spend weeks on your side.

Secondly, do you really want to be sore on every inch of your body? If you really want more than three or four procedures, your best bet is going to be splitting them up into two different mommy makeovers.
