In case you’ve been under a rock for the past decadeand don’t have internet access, you’ve heard of at least one story about a person whose obsession with plastic surgery has gone way too far. This is one such story.
Another Doll Wannabe
Today we will meet Pixee Fox, a Swedish model and self-proclaimed “living doll” who has gone to extremes to achieve her idea of a “perfect” body. She wears a corset 24 hours a day, eats only raw foods, works out several hours a day and claims to have spent over $100,000 on liposuction, breast augmentation, yada, yada, yada to get her cartoon-like figure. Ms. Fox has taken the quest for an hourglass figure to extremes and hadthree ribs removed to achieve her impressive, errr, freakish 16-inch waist.
Why Ribs Matter
Perhaps anatomy and physiology are not an integral part of the high school curriculum in Sweden, or perhaps Ms. Fox was simply absent that day. However, we vaguely recall being taught something about ribs being, you know, important. Removing ribs, particularly for aesthetic reasons, is about as dumb as Ms. Fox’ stage name.
A Reasonable Way to Enhance Your Waistline
If you really want to blow your mind, Google Ms. Fox and look at her photos before she went down her twisted plastic surgery rabbit hole. She was absolutely gorgeous from head to toe. Ms. Fox obviously has too much time and money on her hands and is what most of us without bats in our brains would consider a cautionary tale of how excessive plastic surgery can actually distract from beauty rather than enhance it.
